Konza Prairie Quilters' Guild |
Due to the exceptional snowfall and frigid temperatures, Candy Grisham was unable to come for our January program. Kudos to our program chairs, Betty Frank and Melody Day, for quick thinking and creating an engaging, participatory program for members to enjoy. Members were asked to bring 10 strips of fabric 2.5" by WOF as their "chips" for games of "Strip Poker." After an ante into the pot of two strips, then a version of Left, Right, Center was played to win and lose strips from one another or by claiming the pot. In the end, everyone remained fully attired (ie., still has fabrics) and most of the strips were donated for our philanthropy project for Quilts From the Heart. Snow day = fun day!
