February 2023 Show and Tell

The following members shared projects during the February meeting; descriptions are in order of the photos.  Carol Pacey created a beautiful stained glass butterfly; Jackie Hayes finished a quilt started by her deceased sister and gifted it to her sister's granddaughter; LuAnn Hoover shared Happy, Flappy, Scrappy from the 2022 BOM; Barbara Wright also showed her BOM bird quilt; Harriet Jahnke is looking for suggestions for this old tattered quilt; Lois Hines made a quilt that was donated to a woman graduating from a program to assist women escaping from sex trafficking; Dona Koster made a wool Valentine quilt as well as padded pressing tables and ruler holder; Lana Arpin was delighted to show her king-sized crumb block quilt but is confused that her basket of crumbs seems to have expanded rather than diminished; Elaine Shannon also shared her BOM bird quilt and a second watercolor quilt made from a panel; Ruth Prescott proudly displayed her carpenter's wife star quilt; Geri Fouts wowed members with her appliqued floral quilt, all hand quilted; Sharon Johns had fun making a multi-colored balloon quilt and a second quilt featuring a horse panel; Susan Weaver shared her 3-yard quilt; Karen Spaeth also sensed flutters with her butterfly quilt and had fun making wool ornaments for great-grandchildren; Jody Cheatum made a curvy, wonky table runner.
