March 13 Show and Tell

Following the business meeting, quilts were shown by several guild members.  Chris and Kathie Gathers recently completed a Beginning Quilting workshop and demonstrated their quickly learned skills with completed quilts.  Chris made a three yard quilt with pink and dark purple blocks, while Kathie's quilt featured lavender blocks.  Congratulations, Ladies, you are now QUILTERS!
Connie Taylor added another bird quilt to the completion of the 2022 BOM Flappy Days. These paper-pieced collections of flyers were a fun project for all who participated.
Mimi Benedict shared her latest Quilt of Valor to be given to a worthy veteran.
Ruth Prescott completed a large quilt featuring a stunning purple star in the center.
Sharon John's showed two quilts, the first of which was made for a grandson, complete with an otter theme and soft, minky otters on the back.  Sharon also made a nine block quilt of with teal and yellow tones.
Vickie Greenwood completed two quilts also, the first of which was a 12-block quilt featuring vibrant stars in the center of each block.  In addition, she showed a 9-block peach and brown quilt.
